My sweet cousin, Allisa Berry, passed away this morning after fighting a very courageous battle with cancer. I find myself being so grateful for her and her family's incredible example of faith and hope in a difficult and painful situation. They have strengthened my faith in eternal families and the Plan of Salvation. What a blessing to know Allisa's mission continues on.

If you'd like to read about her journey, you can go to their website at http://hopeforallisa.com/ . Or, you can go there to learn what you can do for others in Cache Valley who continue their fight against cancer.

  1. Oh Angie, this just breaks my heart for your family. Losing a family member is never easy, even with the wonderful knowledge we have as members of the LDS church. My dear sweet cousin passed away just over a year ago at age 28 from a heart attack... and although we all know why he had to go, it still hurts to think he is gone. I think about him all the time still but when I see what his example has done for our family as well as the many others, I am grateful that our Heavenly Father really does know what is best. None of us would have wished to see him leave so early but know that the work he is doing on the other side, as well as the work he is still doing for us amazes me. Anyway, just know I love ya and am praying for your family.
