In honor of Cameron and his accomplishments, here's a list of some of the things Cameron has been learning as of late:
Sucking on things that are bigger than him!

He's has found that the world is a better place when you can put things in your mouth, and I've found my independence with this newfound talent. Thanks for making life easier, Buddy.
Now that he knows he mouth has more than one function, he's learned that he doesn't like when he can't get something into it.

He's found that one of his favorite things to do is cuddle with Dad. When Mark comes home, Cameron's face seems to instantly light up. Maybe he's just glad to see someone else's face besides mine, but pretty sure he's enamored with his papa.

Blowouts are not fun

Mmmm, hard to say who dislikes this chore more--Cameron or me. If it was a race between the three of us, though, I'm sure Dad would win.
Rolling over

Last week, I put Cam on his tummy, and much to my surprise, he rolled over. The next day on Thanksgiving, he rolled once, then that night (to show off for his cousins), he rolled over 4 more times in a row. Ignore the fact that since that show-off session, he's refused to do so since!
Football

Okay, he probably hasn't learned that he likes football over any other sport, but I just like this picture. I'm a mom, I can't help it. I take way too many pictures. If he liked any sport, I'm sure it would be basketball--or maybe we've scared him away with our over-enthusiastic cheering of the Jazz.
How to grow

This is a picture of Cameron at 3 months with his preemie clothes. Oh, so sad for Mom to put these clothes away. I can't believe he would have the nerve to grow so fast! Judging by that grin, he knows exactly what he's doing!
Sleeping

You guessed it, this is probably Mom's favorite things that Cam has learned so far. After about 1-1/2 months, he decided Mom was happier when he slept through the night. We moved him to his crib about a month ago, and he has loved having that little bit of extra room to move his arms and legs. His bumper pad has different animals on it, and he lays in there smiling at them. In addition to nighttime, he's taken to napping. Wow, I never realized how much time this little guy took until I had more of it.
Mark and I cannot believe how much he has changed in the last 3 months. I'm putting a picture of him when we were still in the hospital, just to show how much he really has grown!

..and to show that he really did fit into that preemie outfit! He is truly our little miracle baby!
So cute! /he looks long! How long/tall is he now?
ReplyDeleteIt IS way sad to put away baby clothes as they grow out f them huh?.... but YAY for the napping and sleeping! :)
Angie I am in love with your little boy. Seriously he is probably one of the most adorable little boys I have ever seen before. Can he and Brooklyn get married? :) I can't believe how much he has grown. We need to have a playdate sometime soon. I miss you!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the sleeping picture he is so sweet:)
ReplyDeleteThis post cracks me up. So cute. That sleeping picture is the BEST. And there's no such thing as taking too many pictures. That's what picture-junkies tell themselves, and I'm sticking to it. I seriously take about 200 pictures a day. This is a recent development, since Micah was born.
ReplyDeleteYeah for pictures and a mom who can't stop taking them! I love seeing this little guy. I'm with you...I can't BELIEVE how much he has grown! I still think about his cute smiles all the time. How fun to capture all these milestones! Oh, what a handsome, cute little boy!!!
